What is the TightSculpting Treatment? TightSculpting is a unique fat-reduction procedure that utilises our Fotona laser to eliminate both excess body fat as well as tightening of the skin on selected areas. TightSculpting is a safe, non-invasive and comfortable body-sculpting solution. The results can be long-lasting with appropriate continuing weight management through diet and exercise.
The laser delivers controlled heat to the target stubborn fat resulting in breakdown of the fat cells. The skin is left unharmed. As fat is broken down, your body will naturally deal with it and eliminates it through normal processes. During the same treatment, the laser skin tightening contracts the collagen fibres to tighten your skin and rejuvenate the surface. We may also use the same laser to address any stretch marks in the area (such as on your abdomen, flanks or thighs). The combined effect of increased elasticity and fat reduction will provide you with a more toned and defined shape of the treated body area. How does TightSculpting Work?
The TightSculpting procedure is a unique, non-invasive treatment that uses two laser wavelengths (Nd:YAG & Er:YAG) to reduce fat and tighten the skin.
1st step: Body Sculpting through Fat Reduction
The unique, very long Nd:YAG pulse mode is designed to penetrate deep beneath the surface of the skin. The laser utilises controlled heat to target fat cells causing natural fat cell breakdown. 2nd step: Skin Tightening through Collagen Remodelling The second stage consists of a proprietary non-ablative mode to contract the collagen fibres and tightens the skin, as well as subsequent collagen remodelling, with the purpose of improving skin thickness, elasticity and firmness.
Who is a good candidate for TightSculpting? An ideal candidate for TightSculpting has noticeable bulges and undesirable fat in certain areas they’d like to get rid of in a non-surgical manner. It can help to tighten areas of skin laxity in the same areas. It is important to understand that TightSculpting is NOT a weight-loss solution. How long is a TightSculpting treatment? The TightSculpting treatment time depends on the area of the body being treated. One treatment zone (for example, the front of the abdomen) lasts about 45 minutes to an hour.
Are there any restrictions to activities after a TightSculpting treatment? Following your TightSculpting™treatment, you can return to your normal activities. The treated area may be warm to the touch, red and swollen for few hours and possibly a day or longer. What area can be treated by the TightSculpting treatment?

CASE STUDY
The following patient was concerned about the flabbiness of the abdominal skin after pregnancy. Despite being otherwise fit and healthy and not being overweight, she was self conscious about the appearance of her abdomen in tight clothes such as her gym gear or at the beach. We performed 3 treatment sessions 3 weeks apart and the photos compare how she looked before treatment and after 12 weeks. There has been a significant improvement in the contour of the abdomen and the appearance of the stretch marks. She remained the same weight from baseline.
