THE PRIAPUS SHOT (P-SHOT)
The Priapus Shot (also known as the P-Shot) was designed by US physician and researcher, Dr Charles Runels, to help men with sexual performance. It uses the regenerative properties of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) - the same techniques used in the O-Shot and the rest of the Vampire series of treatments.
PRP has regenerative abilities, stimulates healing and rejuvenates the tissues. Benefits typically include the growth of new blood vessels and improved circulation within the penis, stronger erections, increased sensation and pleasure and enhanced sexual performance. Some men report changes in girth and length of the penis. Many of these benefits are experienced immediately after receiving the injection but it usually takes a few weeks before improvement can be seen (or felt).
It is often a great idea for couples to have the O-Shot and P-Shot together, so they can both enjoy the benefits of improved sex.
What is the P Shot?
The P Shot is designed to deliver improvements in sexual performance to men, especially those who have lost function due to an enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, the after-effects of surgery, drug side effects and other conditions such as diabetes.
What will the P Shot do for you?
Although each man’s experience varies, most men report these benefits following the procedure and post-treatment protocol:
- Increases firmness of erection
- Increases blood flow and circulation
- Improved sexual capabilities
- Increase sexual stamina
- Increases sensation and pleasure
- Enhanced appearance
How long do the results last?
Results generally last from 9 to 18 months, but may be more in some people or less in others.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes 60 to 90 minutes which includes the consultation, consent and the actual treatment.
Depending on your circumstances, we may need to refer you for other investigations prior to the actual treatment.
What happens during the procedure?
The P Shot procedure begins with topical anaesthetic cream to numb the penis and there is little or no discomfort during the procedure. We then take some blood from your arm in the same way as having a blood test. Then, using a proprietary technique, the growth factors are extracted from your blood and concentrated into the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). PRP is the injected into areas of the penis that are most important for the sexual response.
What are the possible side effects?
The most common side effects include temporary skin reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps and bruising.
